Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 September 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and any enquiry, site survey, quotation, or installation service you request from Solart Renewable (“Solart”, “we”, “us”). By browsing this site or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you go on to accept a quotation, that quotation and any signed agreement will set out the specific commercial terms for your installation, and takes precedence over this page where the two differ.
1. Who we are
Solart Renewable installs rooftop solar systems for homes, farms, and small businesses across Maharashtra, operating out of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. GSTIN: 27ABGPD8234Q1Z7.
2. Website content and estimates
The savings calculator, generation estimates, and pricing ranges shown on this website are indicative, based on typical conditions in Marathwada (average irradiation, standard component pricing, and average monthly billing units). They are not a binding quotation. Your actual system size, price, and expected savings depend on a physical site survey — your roof area, orientation, shading, sanctioned electrical load, and site-specific factors that cannot be assessed remotely.
We try to keep this website accurate and up to date, but government subsidy amounts, DISCOM rules, and component pricing can change with little notice. Where anything on this site conflicts with a written quotation we send you, the quotation governs.
3. Enquiries and site surveys
Submitting the contact form or calling us creates no obligation on either side. A site survey is provided free of charge and does not commit you to proceeding with installation. After the survey, we will share a written quotation setting out system size, components, price, and estimated subsidy.
4. Quotations, advance payment, and pricing
A quotation is valid for the period stated on it, typically 15–30 days, because component and inverter prices can shift. Work begins only once you accept a quotation in writing and pay the agreed advance. The balance is payable per the schedule in your quotation, generally tied to installation milestones (material delivery, mounting and wiring, commissioning).
Prices exclude government subsidy unless stated otherwise. Subsidy under PM Surya Ghar or any state scheme is disbursed by the government directly to your bank account after DISCOM commissioning, not by Solart, and is subject to eligibility rules we do not control.
5. Installation timelines
We give a realistic installation timeline in your quotation, but the overall timeline to a working, net-metered system also depends on steps outside our control: MSEDCL (or your local DISCOM) inspection scheduling, net meter installation, and subsidy portal processing. We will keep you updated at each stage, but we cannot guarantee dates that depend on a government department or the DISCOM.
6. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel before work begins for a full refund of your advance, less any component already procured specifically for your order at your request. Once installation has started, cancellation refunds are calculated against work completed and material committed to your site, as set out in your signed agreement. Custom-ordered components (non-standard panel counts, special mounting) may not be refundable once ordered.
7. Warranty and after-sales service
Solar panels and inverters carry manufacturer warranties, which we pass through to you in full and help you claim if needed. Installation workmanship is covered separately under the warranty period stated in your quotation. Routine maintenance (panel cleaning, periodic inspection) is available under an AMC if you choose one; it is not included by default unless your quotation says otherwise.
Warranty does not cover damage from causes outside normal use — lightning or electrical surges not routed through the protection we installed, structural failure of your roof, unauthorised modification of the system by a third party, or damage from extreme weather events beyond design tolerance.
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your property, roof, and electrical connection
- Confirm you have the right to install on the roof (ownership, or society/landlord approval where required)
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the site for survey and installation
- Keep the sanctioned load and electrical connection in good standing, since net metering depends on it
- Not modify the installed system yourself in a way that would affect safety or warranty
9. Limitation of liability
We are liable for installation work performed negligently or not in accordance with the agreed specification. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by government departments, DISCOM processes, grid outages, force majeure events (extreme weather, natural disaster, regulatory change), or issues arising from your property’s existing electrical infrastructure that were not disclosed at survey. Our liability in any case is limited to the value of the affected work under your quotation.
10. Intellectual property
The content, design, and branding of this website belong to Solart Renewable. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse it commercially without our written permission.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or from a service agreement with Solart Renewable is subject to the courts of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, and the “last updated” date above will reflect that. Terms already agreed in a signed quotation are not affected retroactively by a later change here.
